Pattisons: The Platinum Collection is a special celebration of 70 years since the founding of Pattison College by Miss Betty Pattisons in 1949.
The show features a range of entertaining numbers to suit all tastes, commemorating the anniversary years with tributes to work undertaken by Miss Pat and the college.Performances will be given by our young, up and coming dance talent, right through to our graduating full-time Level 4 Diploma Musical Theatre students.
Both shows will showcase styles of dance and music, from Classical Ballet, Tap and Musical Theatre, to Commercial and Street Dance. The matinee performance includes in its cast our youngest pupils, some of whom are experiencing the theatre for the first time and who never fail to raise a smile with their obvious enjoyment.
Pattisons are proud to train the next generation of passionate and expert dancers, choreographers and teachers of Dance. Our fully qualified and experienced staff offer classes in all aspects of Dance and Drama.
Pattisons has been training performers in Coventry for a 100 Years, when it was known as Pattisons Dancing Academy. It has long standing associations with all the local theatres but we are proud to support the beautiful Albany Theatre as our regular venue for the end of year school production.
"The Platinum Collection" encompasses all that inspires our dancers to be the best that they can be, as initiated by our founder all those years ago and carried on by her daughter Mrs Elizabeth McConnell.
