Up On The Roof - The Music of Carole King & James Taylor
Join us ‘Up On The Roof’ as we celebrate two legendary singer, songwriters in this amazing live show. Carole King and James Taylor collaborated on many hit songs through the 70’s and even had their works covered by other great singers.
The sell-out Troubadour Tour in 2010 celebrated 40 years since their first performance together and even beat the sales for the Super Bowl!.
With hits such as: Up On The Roof, You Make Me Feel (Like A Natural Woman), Handyman and You’ve Got A Friend, plus many, many, more you’re sure to know and enjoy these fantastic songs.
Performed by Brian Dales and his band (Sweet Baby James), with whom he has been performing the hits of James Taylor for over 12 years. Emma Pryde has been performing as Carole King since she was just 10 years old, so with over 25 year’s experience, she adds real authenticity to the show.
With a live band and show reel images, this is a real treat for any fan of Carole King and James Taylor.
The performance starts at 7.30 pm. It will last for just over two hours, with a 20 minute interval.

The auditorium slopes steeply down towards the stage. Therefore, in the interest of health and safety, wheelchair designated spaces are reserved at the rear of the auditorium only. Please contact the Box Office if any member of your party requires a wheelchair space. Toilet facilities suitable for wheelchair users are available on the ground floor opposite the Box Office.
The Box Office is open every day Monday to Saturday from 10.30am to 1.30pm, and an hour before performances start. Outside these opening hours, messages can be left on our voicemail.

The Albany Theatre shares an entrance with the Premier Inn, Earlsdon Park.
SATNAV:CV1 3BH: Head towards Coventry City Centre and onto Coventry Ring Road, exit the ring road at Junction 7 signposted Ikea. Exit the roundabout onto Butts Road (B4101) signposted Earlsdon, the Albany Theatre is located on the left hand side past the traffic lights sharing an entrance with the Premier Inn. Chargeable parking is available at the multistorey car park directly next to the hotel (car park entrance off Butts Road).
