What’s On in July…

With the summer sun still looking evasive, we’ve got tons of fun for all weathers at The Albany Theatre! From steamy dancing to award-winning amateur theatre, we’ve got the perfect treat for all this July.

FOR DANCE FANS…

We’ve got two incredible, and completely different, dance shows bringing their incredible moves to our stage. First up the Irish dancing and music spectacular, Rhythm of the Dance, is back at The Albany as part of their 25th Anniversary tour! With more incredible choreography than ever before this stunning look into the cultural heritage of Ireland will have audiences tapping their feet.

Then the very steamy, and a little bit naughty, Forbidden Nights, is bringing sexy back. Coming from their legendary performances on Britain’s Got Talent, this incredible show features show-stopping dancing, crazy stunts and plenty of muscles. Hangover optional, night to remember guaranteed!

CLASSIC COMEDY…

The innovative musical comedy ‘What’s Wrong With Benny Hill?’ comes to the studio, exploring the complex discussion around the iconic comedian Benny Hill. This hilarious experience provides new insights into a private and controversial figure who was none the less seen as one of comedies best.

AWARD WINNING DRAMA…

The National Drama Festival is BACK this July, with four days of incredible award-winning short plays from around the UK and beyond, including plays from Switzerland and Gibraltar! There’s a little bit of something for everyone, and not only can you watch the plays but you can also see them judged live and attend an award ceremony at the end! With workshops and talks rounding out the experience, why not make a weekend of it?

WHATS NEW AT THE ALBANY…

We’ve recently announced our Christmas shows – with Alice in Wonderland and Sleeping Beauty sure to delight audiences. You can also find us at the Godiva Festival this weekend! Pop by and say hi and pick up a copy of our new brochure!

We hope to see you at The Albany this July!
