Toad comes to the Albany this Christmas
Toad’s a really nice chap. No, honestly, he is!
It’s just that he’s an irrepressibly bumptious petrol-head. He’s out of control, and even his great friends Ratty, Mole and wise old Badger can’t restrain him. An out-of-control Toad can end up in a lot of bother – and he does. Can Toad’s stalwart pals rescue Toad Hall from the marauding stoats and weasels in time for Christmas? Can they save Toad from himself?
Olivier Award-winning children’s playwright Mike Kenny’s magical adaptation of Kenneth Graeme’s children’s classic “The Wind in the Willows” is a hugely entertaining retelling of the children’s classic.
With original music, the ethereal singing of the Field Mice Carol, and a light witty touch, this magical and thrilling adaptation promises to be family entertainment at its very best.
“Mike Kenny’s script is funny, clever and pointed in its championing of riverbank life. It has a warm heart but is never twee.” - The Stage
Running Time: Each half is estimated to run for around 45 minutes
Age Guidance: This is a family show. Suitable for 4+ or even a smaller child who is happy to sit through a magical experience.
