Wing It Theatre are celebrating their 10 year anniversary in August 2019!
Wing It 10 is a concert revisiting some of the biggest and best productions over the past 10 years. Wing It Theatre are a company who produce full scale musical projects for the Youth of Coventry every Easter and Summer since 2009, some past productions include: 42nd Street, The Little Mermaid, FAME, Hairspray, West Side Story, RENT and Legally Blonde.
Wing It Theatre have invited original cast members back from 2009 – a group of 18 friends who founded the group to perform in the summer holidays between their training. Many of the original cast have since trained professionally in London then go onto have fantastic careers. Others have travelled all over the country performing and some have left theatre behind and are coming back especially for the huge celebration.
Wing It are also inviting back cast members from recent shows and having at least one musical number from EVERY show they’ve ever performed. Since 2009 Wing It Theatre has expanded and now have an Academy that studies musical theatre every Friday night. Wing It Academy (50+ students) will also be performing in this wonderful reunion concert.
With talents that are now spread from Coventry to the West End, to Broadway and beyond, Wing It 10 promises to be a spectacular celebration!
