We are thrilled to announce our two Christmas shows for this year – Alice in Wonderland in December followed by our community pantomime Sleeping Beauty in January. These fantastic in-house productions will be the perfect festive treat for all the family!
Coming first to the main stage, the legendary children’s classic, Alice in Wonderland, is coming to life. Helmed by the team that produced our critically acclaimed productions of ‘A Christmas Carol’ and ‘Oliver Twist’, rest assured this will be a version of Alice you won’t want to miss. Follow our heroine down the rabbit hole into the magical wonderland, and meet all the strange and mysterious characters, from the Mad Hatter to the White Rabbit! This production aims to bring a new twist to the classic tale, infusing the whimsical land with a sprinkle of darkness…
Then our community pantomime will delight audiences with Sleeping Beauty, with all the booing and cheering you desire! We pride ourselves on choosing an incredible cast, made up of ordinary people and aspiring actors from across Coventry and Warwickshire, giving them a chance to shine on our stage. Witness the evil fairy Carabosse as she curses the Princess Rose to a horrific fate, on her 16th birthday she will prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die, will the heroic Prince and magical fairies be able to save her in time? With plenty of laughs and hit songs to enjoy, this is the perfect day out for the whole family!
