What’s On in November

With the nights getting colder, now is the perfect time to come on into the warm and enjoy fantastic theatre this Winter! As we start to head into our Christmas season, we’ve got some amazing shows to stave of the chill. Whether that’s a classic tribute or a charming children’s show, there’s something for the whole family to enjoy.

The Perfect Fright…

With Halloween on it’s way out, we’ve still got some very spooky shows for those who haven’t had enough yet! A the start of the month we’ve got a terrifying one-man show, The Confessions of Sweeney Todd, where the audience can meet the demonic barber up close and personal. Then there’s Nightmares, a collection of terrifying classic tales told by a master storyteller.

Festive Fun…

Then get into the festive spirit with the start of our Christmas programme! You won’t be able to check out Irish spectacular, Fairytale of New York, as the show is fully sold out, but there’s plenty more where that came from. Experience iconic show tunes alongside Christmas songs from the cast of Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat in Dreamcoat Stars! Then take the kids to meet the big man himself in Santa’s Christmas Cracker, a hilarious show which includes a present and meet and greet at the end.

For all the Family…

For those families not ready for Christmas just yet, we’ve still got plenty on offer. A charming adaptation of the beloved picture book, Dear Zoo, is coming to the stage, with tickets selling fast! Then for the whole family, we’ve got the fantastic local group YOG bringing the musical ‘Everybody’s Talking About Jamie’ to life.

For Music Lovers…

The next show in our new Matinee Club is A Day to Remember, a look back at the music of the 30’s and 40’s, just in time for Remembrance Day. Then we’ve got two classic tribute acts, the King of Rock and Roll himself Elvis Presley, and then pop star icon Ed Sheeran.

Comedy Classics…

The Comedy Club are back at the Albany this November, with some new up and coming comics and MC Robyn Perkins. Then we’ve got Simon Parker in a very topical evening, discussing his cycling travels across America in the wake of the US General Election.

So come on over this November, we hope to see you there!
