Battle Cry
Friday 19th September 2025

When you’ve witnessed the worst things imaginable, the world can never be the same again. Battle Cry is a one-act, one-man play, based on the true stories of former soldiers battling PTSD.

As the play opens, we realise that former soldier Adam’s life has never been easy…but is he too proud to ask for help? Would he rather try to cope in the only way he knows how: at the bottom of a bottle? Is it too late?

Relevant, real and unflinching, Battle Cry reminds us that asking for help maybe the toughest battle of all.

“A Simply stunning performance by Steve Cowley…a masterclass”

“Battle Cry is a play for the head and heart”.
