Here’s another chance to gain and develop your music-making and performance skills under the guidance of leading musicians and performers from the local folk circuit.

Acclaimed multi-instrumentalist and singer, Lauren South is back to host another of her popular and engaging sessions to guide all aspiring fiddle-players. Whether you are an absolute beginner or you have mastered the basics and want to develop your technique, this is the workshop for you. Known for including some ace fiddle-playing in her live shows, she also has extensive experience as a musical tutor. At whatever stage you are, her mission is to get you to play something that you never thought you could by the end of the session.

Bring your own violin if you have one, although there will be a small number of instruments available to borrow. Please note that this 2-hour session will take place in the afternoon, starting at 2pm.

Admission £8 (£5 unwaged) – book in advance or bring payment with you, and a fiddle if you have one!
