Wednesday 25 April - Saturday 28 April 2018
For the first time in the UK, Strictly Theatre Entertainments Ltd presents the hit Off-Broadway musical. Forever Dusty tells the dramatic, revealing story of how a shy Irish Catholic school girl from West London transformed herself into the voice of blue-eyed soul, the face of Swinging London and a worldwide superstar - the legendary Dusty Springfield.
Dusty Springfield was not only one of the greatest talents of her (or any) era. A woman of tremendous courage, she fought and sacrificed to control her own career and destiny, blazing a trail for decades ahead of her and inspiring generations to follow in her footsteps. She remains to this day one of the most influential and important female singers in pop history.
Bursting with all the joy and sadness of Dusty’s remarkable life, this provocative musical features such memorable classics as Son of a Preacher Man, You Don‘t Have to Say You Love Me, The Look of Love, Wishin' and Hopin', I Only Wanna Be With You... from such Hall of Fame composers as Burt Bacharach, Barry Mann, Cynthia Well and Carole King. A fantastic, high-energy and moving production - not to be missed!
