Impact Steelband are a Steelpan musical group who rehearse at the Albany Theatre every Friday from 5:30pm – 7:30pm.

The group is led by Fareed Siddiqui, who is the founder, musical director and band manager.

Impact perform regularly throughout the UK at corporate, private events, weddings, carnivals, festivals. The band has also performed abroad on numerous occasions in Trinidad and Tobago, Europe and the USA.

Impact perform a wide range of musical genres, from calypso to classical, bringing a little bit of the Caribbean to Coventry!

Fareed also offers educational World music workshops in a variety of styles, from Brazilian Samba, West African Djembe, Northern Indian Dhol drumming as well as Caribbean steelpans.
