Would you like to be part of a magical community pantomime at the Albany Theatre in Coventry either in the principal cast or ensemble (16+)? Following the huge success of Cinderella, Albany Productions is proud to present Puss in Boots and we would love you to star in it!
Principal roles available are:
DAME DAISY DONUT
Dame, Male. The Village Miller. Firm but fair. A bit saucy at times. Respected in the village. Fun loving.
COLIN DONUT/PUSS IN BOOTS
Male or female principal boy. Hopeless romantic who longs for adventure but is too much of a drip to just do it, until transformed into Puss in Boots. He is our hero, swashbuckling and full of adventure. Strong and determined.
BILLY DONUT
Comic, male. Daft but smart quick witted and cheeky. Everyone’s friend.
PRINCESS CLEMENTINE CUPCAKE
Principal Girl. Determined, intelligent and feisty.
KING CRISPIN CUPCAKE
Jovial comic hen-pecked husband.
QUEEN CHERIE CUPCAKE
Impatient, the real ruler of the land.
LORD DOGSBODY
The Kings Major Domo. Tries to keep our regal family in order.
BARON HEIDRICH HEAP
Ruthless Villain. Works for the Ogre. They may have a distinctive accent.
THE OGRE
Huge and frightening.
SPIRIT OF THE FOREST
Fairy character who guides Puss through the adventure.
We will be casting for a full company including the principal roles above. Rehearsals will be taking place from mid-September and will take place on Wednesday evenings (TBC) and Sundays. Performances Dates: Saturday 6th January to Sunday 14th January 2024.
