Alkevan is a highly entertaining and talented trio that has evolved from some popular acts on the Warwickshire Folk Circuit including The Harvey Band, and Tanglefoot UK. Performing engaging self-penned songs with lush harmonies and skilful backing on guitar, bass and bodhran, the line-up of Kevin Moffat, Alan Harvey and Richard Norris is joined for this special concert by leading Leamington musicians Bill Bates, Rupe Barthakur, Esmé Pathare and Paul Edwards. To add to the musical mix, there’s a set of lively blues-based material by Coventry’s rising star Jamie Scott.

This will be the last of the current format of ‘Second Sunday’ concerts but watch out for news of forthcoming CVFolk events, featuring many of the finest singers and musicians to be found in Coventry and Warwickshire’s active folk scene. And lots of opportunities to join in!

Admission to Sunday’s show is free but have some cash ready for the regular interval collection! Doors open 7pm for a 7.30 start.
