Fairytale of New York 2024
Friday 1st November 2024

Due to popular demand, Fairytale of New York is back!

After three sell out tours, the ultimate Irish-inspired Christmas concert is back with an even bigger production for 2024.

From the producers of Seven Drunken Nights-The Story of The Dubliners, immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Irish culture as our talented singers, musicians and dancers perform a world class concert featuring all the festive favourites including ‘Driving Home for Christmas’, ‘Step Into Christmas’, ‘Oh Holy Night’ and, of course, ‘The Fairytale of New York’.

…and just when you think the party couldn’t get any better, this world class concert performs the greatest Irish sing-a-long songs of all time including ‘The Galway Girl’, ‘The Irish Rover’, ‘Dirty Old Town’ and ‘The Black Velvet Band.’

Bring your friends and family to share in the joy of the season with an unforgettable night of singing, dancing and laughing. Imagine a St Patrick’s Day party… on Christmas Day!

Dancing in the Auditorium

Whilst we know our audiences love to get up and dance when they come to see live bands and tribute acts at the Albany Theatre, we do ask that you please be considerate of those around you and be aware this may obstruct the view for other patrons. Please do not dance in or block the aisles.

For those patrons who want to remain seated we recommend that they book their seats from row E, or in the Balcony (where the balcony is on sale), where dancing is prohibited due to the rake of the seats making it unsafe.

Please note that the access to the Balcony area is via stairs only and there is no lift access to the Balcony seating area.

See Getting Here for more information on how to find us.

The Albany Theatre is a charity, supported by volunteers. In order to maintain this beautiful building, £1 of your ticket cost goes to our Theatre Development Fund. See Support Us for other ways to donate and help out.
