Karl Loxley – Songs from The Stage and Screen
Friday 21st February 2025

Rated by Sir Tom Jones as having one of the best theatrical voices he’d ever heard! Join Karl for an unforgettable night of music with songs from The Greatest Showman, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, The Lion King and many more.

Karl’s rise to stardom began with his remarkable performance on the hit TV show ‘The Voice,’ where he reached over 9 million viewers with his rendition of the famous opera aria ‘Nessun Dorma.’ Out of an astounding 48,000 people who auditioned, Karl secured his place as one of Sir Tom Jones’ final eight contestants.

His latest album, ‘Solo Amore,’ achieved huge success, reaching the Number 1 spot on the iTunes Classical Music Chart on several occasions and an impressive Number 3 on the Official UK Classical Album Chart. One of the album’s standout tracks, Karl’s rendition of ‘Never Enough’ from the acclaimed film ‘The Greatest Showman,’ quickly became a viral sensation, accumulating over 12 Million views on YouTube. This catapulted Karl to great fame within the Classical Crossover music scene, solidifying his position as a rising star.

Dancing in the Auditorium

Whilst we know our audiences love to get up and dance when they come to see live bands and tribute acts at the Albany Theatre, we do ask that you please be considerate of those around you and be aware this may obstruct the view for other patrons. Please do not dance in or block the aisles.

For those patrons who want to remain seated we recommend that they book their seats from row E, or in the Balcony (where the balcony is on sale), where dancing is prohibited due to the rake of the seats making it unsafe.

Please note that the access to the Balcony area is via stairs only and there is no lift access to the Balcony seating area.

See Getting Here for more information on how to find us.
