Carole King's Tapestry – the Concert

Friday 8 September 2017, 7:30pm

Is "Tapestry" one of the greatest song albums of all time? Certainly, Carole King is one of the greatest songwriters - maybe the best. Featuring songs like "Will you still love me tomorrow?", "So far away” and the timeless classic “You’ve got a friend” Tapestry sold over 25 million copies.

Carole King has rarely performed the whole album live, so this is a unique opportunity to enjoy these brilliant songs together, performed by the startlingly talented Nicki Dee, one of Australia’s most mesmerising entertainers.

This is Nicki’s second appearance at The Albany – she wowed her audience in 2016 with “Ladies Rock”. This will be a night to remember, and it’s a great way to start our autumn programme.

“A truly exceptional entertainer with one of the best voices you will ever hear.” - Frank Ifield
