Volunteers

Volunteers are at the heart of The Albany Theatre, and we are always on the lookout for friendly, enthusiastic people who are keen to learn and be part of the team.

Our volunteers give their time and talents to help run shows at the theatre. We have so much to offer anyone who volunteers with us including a chance to make new friends, the opportunity to learn new skills, keep existing skillsets fresh, work towards paid employment and even free theatre tickets for the volunteering hours you work.

Full training is given, and we encourage all volunteers by providing a supportive environment to learn.

Volunteers take on roles within all areas of the theatre such as front of house (ushering, bar, & kiosk), box office, backstage/tech, and marketing.
