What’s On in February

We hope the first month of 2025 has been brilliant and that you’ve already been to see some of our amazing shows. We’re very excited about our incredible new lineup for February, we’ve got a lot on offer, from half-term treats to musical extravaganzas, there’s something that will suit all tastes and ages!

 

Half-Term Fun…

With February Half-Term coming up, we’ve got loads of great shows to see with the kids. Don’t sit around at home all week and bring the kids to see some brilliant children’s theatre! Starting off we’ve got Mr Sleepybum, a hilarious comedy show with loads of audience participation as you explore all of Mr Sleepybum’s silly dreams. Then we’ve got some prehistoric special guests in Dinosaur Adventure Live, sure to be a roarsome good time with gigantic, life-like dinosaurs! We’ve also got Dance in the Dark, a magical sleepover, don’t forget to wear your pyjamas. And finally, charming puppet theatre is telling the story of The Jungle Book with exquisite shadow puppetry that will appeal to children and adults alike.

 

For Comedy Lovers….

For those who love to laugh we have The Comedy Store, coming to The Albany for a night of quality stand up acts featuring some of the best and brightest in comedy. We’ve also got a hilarious bingo evening led by Shell Suit Cher, featuring all of Cher’s hit songs hilariously reworked and dozens of prizes!

 

Incredible Music…

Calling all swifties! This month we have the amazing Taylormania joining us for a night of singalongs the whole family will enjoy, so come dressed as your favourite era for a fun filled night you will never forget.  We also have the incredible Karl Loxley joining us for a night of spectacular covers from all your favourite musicals, so get your voices warmed up. For more musical hits, we also have Music of the night celebrating Andrew Lloyd Webbers best work!

 

Hard-hitting Drama…

Joining us in the studio is the poignant new play Three Kings, written by BAFTA award winning screenwriter of Pride, Stephen Beresford. Explore the relationship between father and son in this spectacular one man show.
